Good Quality Screen Frames
We don’t use store bought material when it comes to frames. We use high quality material from Active Window Products. A good quality frame will hold it’s shape well and is less likely to bend when removing or installing.
Metal Corners
Our screens are cut at 45° on the corners to allow the use of metal corners, strengthening the frame. Inside the frame there are metal corners which prevent the screen corners from becoming brittle over time.
“Why should I worry about the quality of my screen frames?”
You may be asking yourself this very question. Should it really matter how good the material is when it is just a screen? Well, it definitely does.
Why? Simple, because if they aren’t good frames you will have one of two problems;
The screen mesh will look loose and wavy.
The screen frames will bend towards the center of the screen
This is because the frames are too weak to withstand the tension of the screen material.
So if the frames are weak, well then the only solution is to not pull tight on the screen mesh, which will leave a poor result.
